Hi all
Please be advised Star Class will go ahead tomorrow, Saturday 21 March 2020, as usual, although we expect low numbers due to the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.
As most are aware, there has been an update from the Federal government today in regard to social distancing and the size of venues. We still meet the criteria to continue, although I will be monitoring numbers closely. We request that there is one parent per skater for our Star Class where possible.
For all skaters and attendees, please ensure you continue to follow all health and safety practices and do not attend if you feel unwell, regardless of whether you are showing symptoms of the virus or not.
We will assess star class again tomorrow and are continually monitoring the situation to ensure the wellbeing, health and safety of our skaters. Star Class going ahead tomorrow has been based on schools remaining open and, obviously, adhering to all requirements in this trying time.
We respect and understand the wishes of all skaters should you wish to abstain from skating and assure you we are monitoring the situation on a daily basis.
