Star Class Bookings

We have moved away from our paper-based sign-in sheets at the door to an online booking system for Star Class.

This will enable us to assess and control numbers and keep accurate, up-to-date records.

You will need to book your skater’s place for Star Class every week.

Star Class Levels

Level 1

Level 1 involves learning the basic skills of roller skating, including balance and learning to stop, as well as learning how to fall safely. Skaters in this level often begin by using a support frame to aid them in learning to stand and move on their skates.

Level 2

Level 2 skaters begin to learn more advanced skills such as skating backward, squatting, skating on one foot, turning and the beginning jumps.

Level 3

Level 3 is the final level before Star Class graduation. This level sees skaters progress to skills that are required for the first levels of Artistic Freeskating proficiency, such as one foot jumps, spins and more intricate footwork while moving both forward and backward.
