Due to the current COVID-19 situation in South Australia, Team SkateFX is implementing new measures to miminise the risk of spreading the virus, especially for our younger skaters, and vulnerable members of our club and wider community.

The return of our learn-to-skate Star Class has been postponed and will now resume on Saturday 15th January 2022.

We are moving away from our paper-based sign-in sheets at the door to an online booking system for Star Class. This will enable us to assess and control numbers and keep up-to-date records for contact tracing. This means you will need to book your skater’s place for Star Class by 12pm every Friday so we have time to process the bookings.

This booking will be free of charge for the online process and payments for Star Class will continue to be made at the door when you arrive each week. You will be required to show your QR code and make your Star Class payment before entry to the stadium is permitted, so please ensure you arrive a few minutes early to allow time for this process.

Only one parent or caregiver per star class skater will be permitted to enter the stadium – any other family, including non-skating siblings, will not be allowed entry, as unfortunately we will not have the capacity to accommodate this. For safety, Star Class skaters 12 years and under are required to have an adult remain in the stadium at all times.

We kindly ask that if you find you are unable to attend a class after making a booking that you let us know so we can make the space available for other skaters.

There are some frequently asked questions (FAQs) on our website regarding the new booking system to help you through the process, and these can be found on our Star Class page at https://teamskatefx.org.au/skating/learn-to-skate#booking-faq

If you have a question about the booking system that you feel has not been answered, please direct any queries to contact@teamskatefx.org.au

We understand this may cause some inconvenience, but we thank you for your continued patience and assistance in helping us to keep our skating community safe so our Star Class can continue.
