2023 World Skate Oceania Championships & Pacific Cup
Last month, the Mount Warren Sports Stadium in Queensland became the epicenter of artistic roller skating, hosting the World Skate Oceania Artistic Skating Championships and the Pacific Cup Open Invitational Competition. Over five days, from August 18 to August 22, approximately 70 elite skaters from Australia, New Zealand, China, Taiwan, India, Japan, Brazil, and the USA converged to showcase their talents.
South Australia’s Strong Representation
South Australia once again demonstrated its prowess in the sport, with eight skaters selected to represent Australia at the Oceania Championships. Our athletes delivered outstanding performances, with many securing podium finishes across various categories.
Cadet Ladies Freeskating
- Gold: Alexia Aristidis
- Silver: Emma Vonthethoff
- Bronze: Antonia Aristidis
In addition to placing third in the World Skate Oceania Artistic Skating Championships, we want to congratulate Alexia for taking out silver in the Cadet Ladies Freeskating for the Pacific Cup Open Invitational Competition.
