The Team SkateFX community came together on Saturday for our annual Show Skate and end-of-year celebration, wrapping up another wonderful year of skating, friendship and fun.
The day began with our regular Learn to Skate classes before the spotlight turned to our artistic skaters for a series of entertaining performances.
This year’s Show Skate featured a fantastic mix of themed routines, including Spice Girls, Popular, Jaws, The Grinches, Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree and Disney on Wheels. From festive favourites to movie-inspired performances, our skaters brought plenty of creativity, personality and enthusiasm to the rink.
Following the performances, everyone had the opportunity to enjoy a fun skate together, before the club’s end-of-year presentations recognised the efforts and achievements of our skaters throughout the year.
And of course, no Christmas celebration would be complete without a special visit from Santa!
Show Skate is always a wonderful opportunity to bring our skating community together, celebrate the year’s achievements and enjoy the festive season with teammates, coaches, family and friends.
A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special, and congratulations to all our skaters on another fantastic year. We can’t wait to see what the next year brings!
