In May, two of our club’s brightest stars made history on the international stage at the 2022 Artistic Skating World Cup in Italy. Their performances not only showcased their exceptional talent but also highlighted the strength and depth of our skating community.

Ivy’s World Cup Victory

At just nine years old, Ivy Kerkemeyer delivered a flawless routine that captivated judges and audiences alike, supported by Team SkateFX Head Coach, Tammy Bryant, and Ivy’s mum, Lucy Kerkemeyer. Not only did she win her age category, but she was also awarded the prestigious Hope Trophy, a memorial award presented to a “champion of the future.”

The trophy, almost bigger than Ivy herself, is a significant honour for the young skater, who was competing in her first international competition in Trieste, Italy.

The Hope Trophy was presented by Samo Kokorovec, marking a special moment for Ivy and her journey as a rising star in the skating world.
