Team SkateFX is celebrating an exciting international experience and outstanding results at the 2026 Taiwan Artistic Roller Skating Open (TARSO), held in Hsinchu County, Taiwan, from 13–19 April.
Five of our Artistic skaters, Emma, Charli, Toni, Lexi and Zoe, travelled to Taiwan alongside coaches Shakira McCoy-Travers and Tammy Bryant to compete against talented skaters from around the world.
International Success for Team SkateFX
The competition brought together Artistic Roller Skaters from several countries, providing an exciting opportunity for our skaters to test their skills on the international stage.
Team SkateFX achieved fantastic results in Junior Freeskating, with Emma claiming the silver medal and Toni taking home bronze.
Competing internationally is an incredible achievement, and these podium finishes are a wonderful reflection of the dedication, skill and determination our skaters bring to their sport.
We’re incredibly proud of Emma and Toni, and congratulate all five Team SkateFX skaters on representing the club at this great event.
A Valuable International Experience
Beyond the competition results, travelling overseas to compete provides valuable opportunities for skaters to gain experience, learn from other athletes and experience the international Artistic Roller Skating community.
For our Team SkateFX representatives, the trip was an opportunity to showcase their skills, challenge themselves and create lasting memories alongside their teammates and coaches.
Experiences like these are made possible through countless hours of training, the guidance of dedicated coaches and the ongoing support of families and the wider club community.
A special thank you to coaches Shakira and Tammy for supporting our skaters throughout their international journey.
