Team SkateFX is celebrating an outstanding showing at the 2026 Skate Australia Artistic Skating National Championships, held at Mt Warren in Queensland from 5–11 July.

Competing alongside fellow South Australian skaters against some of the country’s best, our Team SkateFX representatives showcased their dedication, talent and passion for Artistic Roller Skating.

Celebrating Our National Championship Success

A special congratulations goes to Emma and Ivy , who both claimed national titles in their respective Freeskating divisions.

Emma was crowned Junior Freeskating National Champion, while Ivy took home the Cadet Freeskating National Champion title.

Emma’s outstanding performance at the National Championships also earned her selection to represent Australia at the 2026 Artistic World Championships in Asunción, Paraguay, in October.

There was also fantastic success in the Tots division, with Shaikaya taking first place and Adaline finishing second, both competing at their very first National Championships!

These are remarkable achievements and a testament to the hard work, dedication and determination of our skaters, as well as the support of their coaches and families.

We’re incredibly proud of all four skaters and their outstanding performances!

Showcasing Freeskating and Figures

Team SkateFX skaters competed in both Freeskating and Figures, two disciplines that demonstrate different aspects of Artistic Roller Skating.

Freeskating combines athleticism and creativity through choreographed routines featuring jumps, spins and intricate footwork.

Figures challenges skaters’ precision, balance and control as they trace marked patterns on the rink while performing carefully controlled turns and movements.

With more than 230 competitors participating in the championships, the event provided a fantastic opportunity for our skaters to test their skills, gain experience and connect with the wider Australian skating community.

Celebrating Our Skating Community

While national titles and podium finishes are incredible achievements, we’re equally proud of every Team SkateFX skater who competed.

Reaching the National Championships takes dedication, perseverance and plenty of support from coaches, families and teammates.

Congratulations to all our representatives and fellow South Australian competitors, and thank you to everyone who helped make the championships such a memorable experience.
